Safety and Suitability
Calicen combines several meaningful health interventions. Being able to access the protocol does not mean every element is suitable for every person.
Before starting
Review the full current block before acting. Consider your health history, medications, previous response to fasting and exercise, current nutrition, pregnancy status, and access to professional support. Do not begin several unfamiliar high-intensity changes at once when safety is uncertain.
Professional review is especially important
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, or age under 18.
- Diabetes, kidney, liver, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, endocrine, neurological, or psychiatric conditions.
- A history of eating disorder, underweight, recent unexplained weight change, fainting, or electrolyte disturbance.
- Prescription medication, anticoagulants, blood-pressure or glucose-lowering drugs, or medication with food or supplement interactions.
- Planned prolonged fasting, major calorie restriction, or vigorous exercise beyond your current capacity.
Fasting
Prolonged or water fasting can cause dehydration, electrolyte disturbance, low blood pressure, fainting, hypoglycemia, medication complications, loss of lean tissue, and dangerous refeeding problems. It requires appropriate preparation and may require medical supervision. Never force completion because a schedule says to continue.
Supplements
Compare every ingredient and dose with medications, conditions, allergies, other supplements, fortified foods, and laboratory guidance. More is not better. Follow the product label and do not duplicate ingredients unintentionally. Keep products away from children.
Exercise
Select movements and loads appropriate to your present ability. Use a safe environment and competent instruction for unfamiliar technique. Allow recovery and adapt or stop when pain, illness, dizziness, unusual breathlessness, or loss of control occurs.
Stop and obtain help
Stop the relevant protocol activity and obtain prompt professional advice for persistent vomiting or diarrhea, fainting, confusion, severe weakness, a significant allergic reaction, worsening mental-health symptoms, abnormal bleeding, or any symptom that concerns you. This list is not exhaustive.
Emergency symptoms
Call 911 in the United States or seek immediate local emergency care for chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, signs of stroke, loss of consciousness, severe allergic reaction, suicidal crisis, or another possible emergency. Calicen messages and community channels are not monitored emergency services.
