What is Calicen, and who is it for?
Calicen is an educational system for organizing nutrition, movement, recovery, and other healthy-aging practices into a clear cycle. Start with the Protocol overview, and adapt decisions to your circumstances with qualified professional guidance when appropriate.
Where should I start?
Begin with the Start Guide. It helps you understand the cycle, choose Day 1, review safety, and find the routines that matter first.
Do I need an account to explore Calicen?
No. You can read the protocol, recipes, exercises, and science without an account. A free account adds personal cycle timing, saved content, tracking, and your health profile; you can create one here.
How do I choose my cycle start date?
Choose a date that gives you time to prepare and, when practical, use a Monday so the weekly rhythm is easy to follow. The Start Guide walks you through the decision.
What should I do today?
If you are signed in and have selected a start date, My Calicen shows your current day and block. You can also review the protocol routines to see the recurring actions in one place.
What changes when I enter a new protocol block?
Each block shifts the emphasis of nutrition, activity, recovery, or preparation. Use the block overview to understand what changes and why before adjusting your routine.
How do I find recipes for my current phase?
Open Recipes and select your protocol phase. You can combine that choice with meal-time and dietary filters.
Can I quickly find smoothies or fast recipes?
Yes. Open Smoothie recipes or recipes ready in about 30 minutes. The matching filter is selected automatically.
Can I filter recipes for a dietary preference?
Yes. Go to the dietary filters and select one or more preferences. Treat filters as practical discovery tools and always check ingredients for your personal allergies or restrictions.
How do I choose an exercise?
Start with the exercise goals, then choose a movement whose instructions and level suit you. Consistent, controlled practice is more valuable than forcing an advanced option.
What are VILPA and breathwork?
VILPA uses brief vigorous moments in everyday life; breathwork offers guided breathing practices. Review the instructions and safety notes before trying either.
Do I need to follow every part exactly?
No. Calicen provides structure, not a test of perfection. Use the parts that are appropriate for you, progress gradually, and review Safety and Suitability when deciding whether to modify or skip an element.
Is fasting required, and is it safe for everyone?
Fasting is not appropriate for everyone and should never be treated as a requirement that overrides safety. Read Safety and Suitability before considering it, especially if you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.
How do supplements fit into the cycle?
The supplement cycle explains timing, while the routine schedule shows where recurring actions sit. Product labels and individualized professional advice take priority.
What if I take medication or have a health condition?
Review Safety and Suitability and speak with qualified healthcare personnel before making a material change. Calicen is educational and cannot assess interactions, symptoms, pregnancy, or an individual diagnosis.
Where can I see the science behind Calicen?
How do I get help with an order or supplement product?
Email support@calicen.life with your order number and a short description of the issue. Do not include passwords, complete payment-card details, or unnecessary medical records.
What should I do if something feels urgent or unsafe?
Stop the activity. Calicen is not an emergency service; seek immediate local emergency care for severe or urgent symptoms. For a non-urgent site or account problem, contact support@calicen.life.
